Well, I'm up a tad bit earlier than usual today because today is my son's first day of Kindergarten, and YES, I'm a fucking wreck but reading and blogging about other people's drama always makes me feel sooooooo much better so let's get on with the show!

Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr's Las Vegas mansion was robbed on August 17th and this is one of the guys who obviously has a death wish lol. TMZ is reporting that this guy along with 3 of his other dumb ass friends smashed through Mayweather's bedroom window while the undefeated champ was away (of course) and made off with over $7 million bucks worth of jewelery. The Las Vegas Police Department is asking anyone who recognizes this guy or knows anything to call (702) 825-4431, but if you want to remain annoymous, call (702) 385-5555.


CHANGE OF HEART?

It looks as if the talk of my town, Kwame Kilpatrick, is having a slight change of heart about negotiating a deal for his perjury and obstruction of justice charges instead of going to trial and facing some serious jail time. I can't help but laugh my ass off because this dude was so arrogant about his innocence and how he's not going anywhere and blah blah blah, but now since all kinds of shit has hit the fan up here in Detroit, he's trying to play let's make a deal lol.

The proposed deal would require Kwame to resign as the mayor immediately, give up his law license, hand over all his state pension and benefits to the city, agree not to run for another term in office for at least 2 years, complete 300 hours of community service along with 5 years probation. I'm not convinced that this is enough punishment for the degree of what he did and neither is Kim Worthy, the Wayne County Prosecuter, because she hasn't accepted the deal as of yet because she is strongly opposed to the mayor not having to do any time behind bars. Hey, if Lil Kim had to take her little ass to jail, why wouldn't you? Lol

Is it just me, or am I the only one who really wants to just sit infront of the TV watching all the Democratic ads that are going to take advantage of McCain's Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's announcement that her 17yr old daughter being knocked up and unwed? Now of course shit like this happens in the hood all the time but this is definitely a little different considering the Republican's conservative morals and views. They're claiming her daughter and the father of her unborn child are planning to get married, but we ALL know what's really hood and that the 2 are probably being forced to marry due to Palin's potentially new future endeavor. As bad as the media and the Republican party bashed Sen. Obama for being a member of Reverend White's congregation I feel like they deserve every bit of it! Especially since they even tried targeting my girl Michelle. Governor Palin is also invovled in another scandal which involves her being suspected of using her jurisdiction to get her brother in law fired from his position as a Sheriff. I just can't wait to see how all of this is going to play out! Lol

My long lost sister (lol) Beyonce and Mama Tina are expanding their Dereon line and are venturing into the jewelery industry. Projected to nationally launch in the Spring of 2009 at Macy and Dillards locations, the new line will include "edgy" accessories such as leather cuffs and charm bracelets. I'm actually looking forward to seeing it because I am such an accessory fanatic and plus I think I'm just a little disappointed with most of her Dereon clothing line so hopefully they'll make up for that with this new line of jewelery.

OBAMA'S DNC SPEECH...

Doing things a little different today because I was so moved last night by Obama's speech that I've been watching it all day, and it still gives me the same inspiration as it did the first time that I heard it live last night....





There aren't enough words that I feel are equivalent to describe how monumental this was to Black America's history. Forget Diddy! Barack IS the new BLACK AMERICAN DREAM and as the parent of a black male, I am so truely inspired to encourage my baby to grow up and become more than just another talented athlete or musician. To push my goddaughters to become more and exceed America's expectations. Teach our daughters that while nursing is a great career field, but becoming a physician would be even greater! To expect, strive for, and appreciate a higher education. Encourage our male children to become a successful architect and not just "settle" for becoming a construction worker. To become a CEO and not just another corporate worker! To basically NEVER strive for anything but the HIGHEST success.

Never in my 27 years have I felt so proud to be black and living in America! Besides the reality of the issues that Barack supports, the fact that so many of our black elders never thought that they would ever live to see this day because they grew up in an inhumane society is so emotionally overwhelming. The success of Obama's campaign alone should be a blunt reality check to those who still live in America today choosing to live by the same ignorant, immoral, and disrespectful habits of a racist and discriminating society!

Barack Obama has partially reached one of the ultimate goals of black society by being nominated by the Democratic party and I am so proud to be a huge part of determining the outcome of his next history making move which is becoming the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

In a recent interview that Terrance Howard did with the New York Times, he revealed that he got the inspiration for another one of his piece of shit songs, No. 1 Fan, by being creepy as hell and stalking his ex-wife:
I wrote that song (No. 1 Fan) as a stalker. It was raining, and I was sitting there in front of the house, watching her come home from a date after we were divorced. I was imagining what she did on this date, and watching her giving him a kiss. I went home and wrote this song."

First the baby wipes comment, and now you're a self proclaimed stalker? I knew he was crazy from watching how he was ready to pounce on Beyonce that time when Destiny's Child did the little lap dance thing on their performance on an awards show some years back.I'm surprised after reading his statement that his psycho ass didn't jump out the car and go "Whoop That Trick's" ass for going out on a date. 7 YEARS AGO TODAY....

was the day the we lost R&B singer Aaliyah, along with 8 other passengers, in a plane crash on the way back from her video shoot in the Bahamas. She was only 22 when she passed.

I really don't too much care to see Erica Kane prancing around half naked, but I know some die hard AMC fans so I felt is was my duty to post it lol. I'll probably end up watching the first 2 shows and then my ADD would kick in and I'd forget all about the shit lol.

"I don’t know what got into my head. But I decided that I needed to know once and for all what Big was really trying to do. On that night before Christmas, I drove to Big’s house on a mission to find out where I really stood.
The security guard at the gate just waved me in when I pulled up. It was Christmas Eve and she’d seen me come into the complex with the kids, so I guess she didn’t think anything of it. I parked in the rear of Big’s town house and walked up to the garage. It was locked. I hadn’t been over to Big’s house a whole lot but I did know that you jiggle the garage door a certain way and unlock it.
I got into the garage, where there was an elevator that would take me to both floors of Big’s duplex. There I was, rocking a black skully cap and a heavy goose-down jacket, tiptoeing into the elevator and pressing the button to go up to the second floor, where his bedroom was located. I got to Big’s bedroom door, turned the knob, and went inside. As soon as I saw a small lump next to Big’s large frame, I flew into a rage, ran over to the side of the bed, and pulled back the covers. I grabbed some chick our of the bed and started beating her ass. At some point, the chick’s wig came off in my hand; It was a short, cropped wig. I stopped throwing punches for a minute to get a good look at the chick I was beating up. It was Lil Kim. She was completely butt-naked, yelling as I pushed her around the room.
“So you not fucking her, right?” I screamed at Big. “Yeah, you not messing with her anymore,right?”
When they heard all the commotion, Cease, D-Roc, and Gutter came running into the room. ‘Oh shit!” they yelled in unison. “It’s Faye! How the hell she get in here?”
Big sat up in bed and pointed at Kim, who was standing in a corner of the room, trying to cover her naked body with her hands while I was still yelling at Big. “Yo, get her outta here,’ Big said. They led Kim out of the room and she screamed and cursed the whole way.
It was absolutely crazy in that house. Kim was naked and being led somewhere to get dressed. I was still screaming on Big. Damion, Cease, and Gutter were laughing in amazement that I would be so bold. And Big looked like he was just too through with all of us. He sat up in bed shaking his head. Kim left the house and I stayed, talking to Big about why he couldn’t be honest with me about her.
‘I thought it was all about Tiffany?” I asked. You still messing with Kim, too?” Big had nothing to say. I have to say I actually felt some pity for Kim. Big had a wife, and she settled for messing with him. Then he started dating Tiffany and Big had a wife and a mistress. And Kim still settled for being other other woman. It seemed pretty sad to settle for that.
When I left a few hours later to get the kids, I noticed that Kim had taken my key to my Land Cruiser and scratched up my entire car, from the hood to the back bumper. Even though we ended up having sex that day, at that point I decided I was 100 percent through. I was not going to be a ride or die chick, always going to lengths to show Big how I felt. I was the mother of his child and his wife. But I was going to have to let go."

Ok, I think that my interest in this book has slowly depreciated because her kicking Lil Kim's ass seems like it may be the best part of the book lol. And I'm pissed that her dumb ass still had sex with the nigga after all this lol.

But then after laying there for like....forever, in front of the whole concert because K-CI is too busy trying to remember the damn words to the song that they've been singing for 100yrs now, JoJO got up like nothing happened. Then only after the song was nearly finished did the two embraced in a crakheadish kinda hug and walk off stage. OMG! I can go on for like an hour laughing at this shit, but I don't think my fingers could take it! LMAO....Just Say No to drugs damn!

Word on the streets up here in the "D" (Detroit!) is that Mr. Shit Talk aka Yung Berg got a lot of "Tha Bizzness" his damn self at a Detroit club last night. I'm not one for violence (lol) but I am one to point out a well deserved ass kicking when it's needed and BABY, I'm hearing Mr Christian Ward (lmao @ "Christian"...you can't be HARD with that name!)got his infamous Transformer chain snatched and him AND his security got those asses kicked something serious. And not only that, but his album, Look What You Made Me, is a fucking flop. I bet his BabyMama is somewhere on the verge of vomiting her lunch from laughing so damn hard at the bad Karma surrounding YB right now!
Berg is set to perform at HOT102.7's Summer Jam Concert tonight but right now, I sincerely doubt that he'll take the stage considering the great "welcome to Detroit" greeting he received last night! I'll keep you posted on this one!

Gwen Stefani gave birth to a baby boy Thursday morning at Los Angeles' Cedar Sinai Hospital. People Magazine is reporting that Gwen and her husband, Gavin, named the new additon to their family "Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale". Are you kidding me? Really? I"m not really in the mood this morning to think of anything snappy to say to make everybody understand how confused I am on why stars do that to their kids, but I guess it's kinda like the same way that "my people" (lol) give their kids names with a whole bunch of silent ass letters and apostraphes and shit! Moving on......

Brittney Spears is rumored to be performing at this year's MTV Video Music Awards airing September 7th @ 9p. I use to be a fan of Brittney's until chick lost her freaking mind and I got my hopes up last time when she opened up the show and I wanted to smack her for dissapointing me! I know yall remember that movie with Da Brat and LisaRaye when they were in locked up? My friend Renia was in that movie (Hey Girl! Heyyy!) which was the only reason why I watched it so maybe everybody hasn't seen it lmao. Anyhoo....Shawntae Harris aka Da Brat was sentenced to 3yrs in prison and 7yrs probation for cracking a waitress in the face with a bottle and permanently scarring her last Halloween at Jermaine Dupri's Studio 72 Nightclub in Atlanta. My nosey ass still wants to know why Da Brat went nuts on the girl in the first place! And while I was searching for a pic to post, I came across this....

Hey fellow gossipers, it's a slow news day so far so hopefully a celeb will pop up in jail or something soon but until then, yall just have to deal with this news that I'm pulling out of my ass right now! lol

R.I.P.

The first African American woman to represent the state of Ohio in Congress has passed away yesterday evening. Yesterday morning, news sources reported that Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs suffered an aneurysm while she was driving in Cleveland and she was taken to an East Cleveland hospital where she remained in critical condition until she suffered a brain hemorrhage and passed away. The East Cleveland hospital where the Congresswoman was being treated at has released an official statement:

Tubbs Jones, 58, died at 6:12 p.m. after suffering a brain hemorrhage that caused an aneurysm that burst and left her with limited brain function, spokeswoman Eileen Sheil said “Throughout the course of the day and into this evening, Congresswoman Tubbs Jones’ medical condition declined,” Sheil saidin a statement from the clinic and Tubbs Jones’ family.

My condolences goes out to her family.

And the part that cracked me up was that if you stare at their limbs long enough, they almost resemble the limbs of the little family on the movie "The Incredibles" (yes I sit and watch that shit, even when my son isn't around! So What? lol). Are you kidding me....but we sat and watched the whole thing though, I'm not even going to lie to yall! lmao

Is the next in line to release a "tell all", titled "Keeping the Faith", about her life. Sources are reporting that the R&B singer is going to finally spill the beans on the infamous feud that happened between her, Biggie, and Pac and how she was bashed by both rappers after Pac claimed to have slept with her. Sounds juicy....can't wait to get my hands on it!
